Handover of New Immigration Hall at Belfast International Airport

Martin & Hamilton have delivered the upgrade & extension works for new Border Force Immigration facilities at Belfast International Airport. The works were delivered airside under strict security protocols. The demolition, extension and upgrade works were delivered within a live site area.

Works comprised layout amendments over two floors. Existing Border Force offices were relocated, the Departures corridor was amended to facilitate expansion works. A new Border Force watch house, interview rooms and Immigration Hall were constructed and fitted out with provision of all services amendments including air conditioning and heat recovery systems.

The new and upgraded facility was delivered on time for the busy summer season at the airport. The new Immigration Hall provides increased capacity to improve customer journeys at Belfast International Airport.
