Restoring the Past, Building the Future
Work has been completed on an extension to St. Louis Grammar School in Ballymena.
The project involved the construction of a first floor extension over existing changing rooms, a new two-storey entrance lobby and first floor link to the existing school building. The new development incorporates a fitness suite, dance studio, staffroom, lobby, toilet facilities, a passenger lift, and also involved partial refurbishment of facilities on the ground floor.
The construction work consisted of steel portal frames, external cavity walls (part), internal solid walls and insulated cladded panels to the roof, along with associated mechanical and electrical services. External works consisted of a new bitmac area, service drainage and landscaping.
The project was 55% funded by Mid & East Antrim Borough Council.
We wish the staff and pupils well for the future.
